This week Mrs Merry treated everyone to a story in french, whilst reading Mrs Merry also translated it into english, for the children, as she read.  The children were able to pick out french words for the different areas that the cat was going to.  It ended with there being a box in a dark...very dark corner of the cupboard and in the box was a little mouse who had made the box it's home, and very comfortable it looked too.

The children were then asked to imagine finding a box and what was it that they might find in there.  Some quick ideas were 'lots of money', 'to be able to time travel', 'Leo, my Grandma's cat' and 'minecraft'.  They were then asked to draw a box and draw inside it what they would find.
