Courage
Throughout our lives, we will need to show the value of courage. At Charsfield we teach our pupils that sometimes it can be difficult to show courage but if we seek help and advice from those around us we can have courage. We use bible stories in our collective worship to discuss the importance of this value. We also look at significant people who have shown courage and had faith in God to help guide them, such as Florence Nightingale.
We also use song and stories such as the story about a seed that had the courage to do something different, even when all the other seeds told him he was wrong.
