On Monday 24th June the whole school visited Whitlingham Broads in Norfolk for some fun, water-based activities. Key Stage 1 enjoyed taking part in archery and climbing before climbing aboard a Katakanu and paddling out onto the water. Key Stage 2 took part in two of three activities from: paddle boarding, raft building and kayaking.
Blue skies and sunshine with a gentle breeze provided optimum conditions for Charsfield Sports Day 2019 as the three house teams: Aquila, Phoenix and Pavo kitted out in their respective colours were ready to compete for the school house cup! All children were exceptionally well behaved with plenty of sporting prowess on show for our morning carousel of activities: javelin, obstacle course, netball, bean bag throw, tennis ball target, football target, bean bag slide, long jump, cricket stumps, and of course nobbly bobbly!
The performances of Hoodwinked by Key stage 2 were marvellously entertaining. Well done to all involved, we very proud of all of you. Well done to the back stage crew: Ben, Findlay, Katherine, Harry C and Francis for keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Class 3 have worked incredibly hard this term learning all about the Tudor period.
Class One had a super trip to Banham Zoo to link with their topic work.
