Hilltop Residential Day 2
After a good night's sleep, a hearty breakfast, it was off to Sherringham and the air jump.
The children demonstrated their map reading skills and determination to complete the walk, which was partially fuelled by a delicious ice cream in the town. The weather was changeable, but we were greeted by sunshine as we ascended the hill back up to the centre.
All the Charsfield children were naturals at jumping off the highest platforms. They showed tremendous courage and determination as they overcame their fears and worked their way up to the higher platforms. Many who made it up to 7 or even 8 metres above the ground would have gone higher if they could.
In between throwing themselves off high places and navigating their way to find ice cream, the children tackled the obstacle course and finished the day with games in the woods.
Well done everyone!
