Share a Story, Share a Biscuit
Every week, on a Friday, we end the day with Share a Story, Share a Biscuit. This is a very special Collective Worship. Two children volunteer each week to choose a story, practice reading it together, and read it aloud to the rest of the school. We then sit quietly, and listen to the story. Every child gets a biscuit to eat and usually a piece of fruit as well.
At the end of the story, we reflect on which of our values we spotted in the story. This half term our focus is Responsibility, but often we can spot our other values in the story too. (Courage, Friendship, Perseverance, Compassion and Creativity).
It is a delightful way to end our week and makes us all feel very content.
