In December we will explore the importance of Advent and Christmas to Christians and look at how these are celebrated in different countries. December the 1st is our traditional 'Decorate the School Day' and we choose a theme and the children create a picture as a group to adorn the walls of the school. Past themes have been: Christmas Carols, The Nativity Story, Christmas Day Traditions and Christmas Around the World. 

Pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 take part in the traditional nativity play (but it usually has a twist to link in with the children's current theme!). We perform this in the church.
